Tour of Scotland 2024

Photos from four glorious weeks - two people and a dog - in a small 1979 camper van touring Scotland and the Hebrides. We had an encounter with a bold red deer stag stalking me whilst I was trying to capture the Northern Lights, cancelled ferries and hurriedly rescheduled plans and everything that the weather could throw at us. However, the October colours were magnificent with hues of gold and pops of the almost iridescent red berries of mountain ash doted across the landscape. You may wonder why I have a photo of a group of self-service washing machines - but it's an essential when living on the road and all part of the experience and an interesting subject to shoot!
